Epilepsy Awareness Month | November 2021

November is Epilepsy Awareness Month and the Difu Simo team organized community engagement campaigns across Kilifi County. Epilepsy experts and clinicians held interactive sessions with community members across Malindi, Ganze, Magarini, Rabai, Kaloleni and Kilifi South Sub-Counties to create awareness on the condition including the types of epilepsy, risk factors, management, and seizure aid.

A toll-free line (+254112643067) was also provided to connect the public with doctors and experts in epilepsy.
