Current Work

My current work involves a vaccine trial for the current pneumonia vaccines. We are trying to find out whether smaller doses of the current vaccines can protect children as well as the full doses. This may ultimately reduce the cost of procuring these vaccines in the future.

Motivation

Making a difference in how children now and in the future will get access to life-saving vaccines.

Qualifications

My main role involves ensuring the safety (good health) of our trial participants. For this to be done, one has to be a medical doctor. The qualification for this is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Epidemiology

Hobbies

I enjoy yoga, reading (mostly non-fictional work) and once in a while I write short stories!
